March / April 1996 - AIDA v4.0 released via email and the Internet for beta-testing
June 1996 - AIDA v4.0 goes on general freeware release (following beta-testing)
December 1997 - Prototype version of 'AIDA on-line' Web-based simulator first tested on Internet
August 1998 - 'AIDA on-line' went fully live for free general usage on the Internet
July / August 2000 - AIDA v4.3 made available first for beta-testing and then on general freeware release
October 2000 - AIDA moved to its own dedicated Website here at http://www.2aida.org
February 2001 - 'AIDA on-line' moved to its own dedicated Website here at http://www.2aida.org/online
July 2001 - AIDA US Mirror Site commissioned in Baltimore, Maryland, USA at http://us.2aida.org
August 2001 - AIDA v4.3a placed on general freeware release
September 2001 - 'AIDA on-line' version 2 launched here at this Website
July 2002 - AIDA US Mirror Site moved to new, larger facility in California, USA at http://www.2aida.net

January 1999 - Server hosting 'AIDA on-line' version 1 crashed, therefore facility unavailable for much of the month
October 2000 to January 2001 - Simulated blood glucose data harvested from 'AIDA on-line' by researchers at NASA for training and testing an insulin-dosage adjustment decision support prototype. Over 68,000 simulations run during this time. For further information, click here.
Other heavy usage: December 1999 - 7,984 simulations run. April 2002 - 6,659 simulations run. March 2003 - 8,563 simulations run.
